37 Treasurer/Finance Director City of Rochester Starting with the city of Rochester as a finance department cashier in 2009, Anthony Moggio has risen through the ranks and now serves as the Finance Director and Treasurer for the city. That progression allowed him to learn all aspects of how local government works and has helped in presenting complex information to officials, staff and the public in a way that is clear and understandable. In addition to his role as Treasurer and Finance Director, Moggio first started serving the city as a volunteer firefighter right out of high school and continues to be a captain in the fire department and the Finance Section Chief for the Oakland County Incident Management Team. He also is a drone pilot and started one of the first multi-jurisdictional state validated drone teams in Michigan. Moggio received a bachelorÕs degree in accounting from Oakland University.
