Township Clerk
Springfield Charter Township
Inspired by his mother as a child to give back to the community, Sean R. Miller started his own law practice specializing in estate planning, elder law and probate administration, working for five years helping vulnerable and marginalized people.
In 2020, Miller was elected township clerk in Springfield Township and is responsible for the townshipÕs elections. He is also involved in several civic organizations, including the Holly Area Youth Assistance, Clarkston Area Youth Assistance, Rotary Club, Michigan Association of Municipal Clerks, Oakland County Clerk's Association and Michigan Township's Association.
He volunteers his time as the vice president and legal advisor on Deaf Community Advocacy NetworkÕs board of directors as well as serving on the Samaritan Counseling Center of Southeastern MichiganÕs board of directors.
Miller earned a bachelorÕs degree in criminal justice from Lake Superior State University and a law degree from Cooley Law School at Western Michigan University.
He and his family live in historic Davisburg, and they enjoy hiking and fishing at many preserved parks and natural areas in Oakland County.
