35 Procurement Category Manager Rocket Fostering inclusivity and expanding opportunities for diverse clients, Doug Furgason is a passionate advocate for the LGBTQ+ community. As procurement category manager at Rocket, Furgason leads diversity initiatives for suppliers, championing business opportunities for women, ethnic minorities, veterans and people with disabilities. He also has worked for Stonewall Sports in Detroit and Stellantis in Auburn Hills. He also serves as a board member for the Detroit LGBT Chamber of Commerce and is director of Catfight for the Crown, which has raised thousands for the Ruth Ellis Center in Highland Park, which provides housing, healthcare and crisis support to youth experiencing homelessness. Furgason also has helped lead Motor City Pride activities for Rocket and Jeep. A resident of Clawson, Furgason received a bachelorÕs degree from Michigan State University and an MBA from Wayne State University.
