A notice from Title Check LLC has recently been sent to property owners with unpaid 2024 and previous property taxes that are subject to foreclosure unless the taxes are paid by March 31, 2027.

Investors
As the County's banker and chief investment officer, the Treasurer is responsible for investing all General and Proprietary funds and the Local Government Investment Pool on behalf of Oakland County.
The investments are managed in conformance with PA 20 of 1943, and the Oakland County Investment Policy that uses the highest ethical and investment standards to ensure the safety of the invested public funds, liquidity and return on investment.
The Oakland County Investment Policy also restricts the investment portfolio to no more than 15 percent with a single financial institution and no more than 60 percent with a single security type.
Qualified Investment Service Providers
The Oakland County Treasurer’s Office is establishing a pre-approved list of qualified investment service providers, brokers and dealers to work with our office to manage and transact eligible investment securities.
Interested service providers, brokers and dealers who meet the minimum requirements are invited to submit the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for consideration. Additionally, the Investment Policy Acknowledgement and Compliance form must be submitted to affirm that all investment instruments provided will comply with Oakland County’s Investment Policy.
