In order to receive any payment you must be a registered vendor with Oakland County. Please use these forms to submit your initial vendor registration request or to update your information. All forms should be submitted to vendors@oaklandcountymi.gov
Experts and investigators should submit an itemized invoice on their letterhead, with the identifying case information in the header, to idso@oaklandcountymi.gov and mennap@oaklandcountymi.gov.
Please use the Transcript Invoice Survey if you are seeking payment on a District Court transcript. Do not submit to the Clerk's Office.
Use the voucher submission portal for all attorney vouchers.
Note that the portal is typically offline on the 4th Friday of every month from 9:00pm - 6:00am for maintenance.
In most cases, attorneys are encouraged to not file a voucher until final disposition of the case (i.e., sentence (including initial imposition of delayed sentence), dismissal, bench warrant, attorney withdrawal, attorney retained out). All vouchers must be submitted within 30 days of that date. The IDSO understands that exigent circumstances can arise, however, there is no guarantee of payment on late vouchers.
At the end of the fiscal year, this timeframe is shortened. All vouchers for cases completed in September of 2026 must be received no later than Wednesday, October 7, 2026. (i.e. if you complete a case on Wednesday, September 30th, you have 7 days to submit your voucher).
In cases that are significantly complex, which in the attorney’s professional judgment may span an inordinate length of time, attorneys may submit quarterly vouchers. Attorneys should be diligent about ensuring that in these circumstances, they are only vouchering for work done during the applicable quarter.
The IDSO uses the following fee schedules to pay attorneys. Please note that the FY27 felony fee schedule also contains several helpful tips that attorneys should keep in mind when completing their time itemizations.
Below are the historical IDSO felony fee schedules, for reference purposes:
All voucher submissions must contain a time itemization. The IDSO has created a template for attorneys to use. Attorneys must upload the template in Excel format. Please do not convert it to PDF. There are free programs such as LibreOffice and Google Sheets that will allow you to complete the Excel template without purchasing a Microsoft product or subscription.
